Year 5 RE – Exploring Prophecy and Paul’s Teachings

Year 5 Christmas Party
This afternoon, Year 5 enjoyed their Christmas party together. The children started with games of Musical Statues and Funkiest Dancer , set to the sounds of James Brown’s Funky Christmas . Christmas Celebrations for Year Two
Year Two had a wonderful morning of team-work activities as part of our Christmas Party day. First, working in groups the children used four sheets of paper to make the longest paper chain they could, with some incredible results. They realized communication was the key to success. Y3 Art
Year 3 have completed a fantastic art project inspired by prehistoric cave art. They began by exploring images of ancient artwork and used pencils and charcoal to draw animals in the style of early humans. These drawings were then upscaled, and pupils created their own 'cave walls' using textured materials like rice and salt to give an authentic, rocky feel. This half term, Year 3 have been busy exploring rocks and soil in their science lessons. They looked closely at the different properties of rocks and carried out hands-on investigations to test the permeability of sand, chalk, and clay. NSPCC Workshop
This morning, Year 2 had a fantastic time taking part in an NSPCC Speak Up Workshop. We learnt about our trusted adults at home and at school.
