'Melva' in Year 4

The children in Year 4 have recently been introduced to Melva, a creative programme designed to help children and young people's knowledge and understanding of mental health and wellbeing.

The programme is based around 'Melva', a young girl who lives with her Grandpa in Scatchicle Town. Her worries (or 'worrits' as she calls them) are preventing her from doing new things.

Through creative storytelling, engaging characters and practical activities, children learn alongside Melva how to recognise, understand and talk about their own wellbeing.
