Prior to half term, Year 5 had a visit from the NSPCC to talk about how children can stay safe and know who to turn to if they ever feel worried.
The session was really engaging and age-appropriate, covering topics such as speaking out, recognising unsafe situations, and understanding that every child has the right to feel safe and supported.
The children listened carefully and took part in discussions, sharing some thoughtful ideas about what kindness and respect mean in everyday life. It was great to see how confidently they spoke about looking out for one another and knowing where to go for help.
A big thank you to the NSPCC team for visiting and reminding us all of the importance of speaking up and supporting each other.
