Speaking Out and Staying Safe – NSPCC Visit to Year 5
Prior to half term, Year 5 had a visit from the NSPCC to talk about how children can stay safe and know who to turn to if they ever feel worried. The session was really engaging and age-appropriate, covering topics such as speaking out, recognising unsafe situations, and understanding that every child has the right to feel safe and supported. NSPCC Workshop
This morning, Year 2 had a fantastic time taking part in an NSPCC Speak Up Workshop. We learnt about our trusted adults at home and at school. We learnt that everyone has the right to feel safe, and who we can talk to if we have any worries or concerns. Finally we made Buddy puppets and explored the NSPCC Website. Now we all have the knowledge we need to stay safe. Speak out. Stay Safe.
