This term, Year 4 have been on an exciting creative writing journey inspired by one of Newcastle’s most beautiful spots: Jesmond Dene . Known for its winding paths, sparkling waterfalls, and hidden bridges, Jesmond Dene gave us the perfect setting to let our imaginations run wild.

Year 3 have completed a fantastic art project inspired by prehistoric cave art. They began by exploring images of ancient artwork and used pencils and charcoal to draw animals in the style of early humans. These drawings were then upscaled, and pupils created their own 'cave walls' using textured materials like rice and salt to give an authentic, rocky feel.
