Year 3 – Computing

Year 3 used Purple Mash and 2SimpleArt to learn how to create digital paintings. Children looked at brush size and stroke, variations of colours, and how to add various special effects to add detail. We also looked at how to use the zoom function so children could create further detail. For context, children learned about Stone Age cave paintings and used their iPad to access BBC Bitesize. Children learned how to use the search engine Safari and how to correctly type in and search for a website. Children were then taught how to save a piece of work.

I will be looking to add this session to SeeSaw for those children that were absent and for those that would like to further develop their skills and produce more amazing work!
