In maths lessons this week, Year 1 children have been learning how to double and half numbers up to 20. Children firstly used counters and shared these out to find half of a given number. Pupils then used numicon to double a number and count them altogether to find the total.
Children have then been practising doubling and halving numbers as part of their early morning work this week. Great job Year 1⭐️
