Y5 D&T and STEM Week

Year 5 made some fantastic bridges in their design and technology unit of work and as part of STEM Week. They learned about arch bridges and truss bridges and investigated the strength of different designs. Pupils worked in groups to design and make their own bridge using tools such as saws and glue guns. They also made a spaghetti truss bridge.
