Y4 Trip to Roman Army Museum and Vindolanda

Y4 went on a trip to the Roman Army Museum and Vindolanda, where they explored many artefacts left behind by the Romans. They were taught by a Roman teacher in the classroom and also watched an award-winning 3D film about living on the edge of an empire. Along the way, they stopped to see Hadrian’s Wall too and how it stretched from near our school at Wallsend, all the way past Vindolanda! It was amazing to see what Vindolanda, Magna and the town would have looked like during Roman Britain. What a fab day! 🌟😃
