World Book Day at our school was a magical event filled with storytelling and sharing. We gathered together to celebrate our love for books, and one of the highlights was reading “Into the Woods” by Anthony Browne. The illustrations were absolutely amazing, bringing the fairy tales to life in vibrant colours and captivating detail.
In addition to enjoying “Into the Woods,” we also had the opportunity to bring our own books to school and swap them with our friends. It was exciting to discover new stories and share our favourite reads with each other.
In class, we wrote a book review for “Flood,” a captivating picture book that we recently read. We shared our thoughts on its powerful storytelling and beautiful illustrations, and discussed themes of hope, resilience, and family values.
To top it all off, we enjoyed hot chocolate and biscuits, adding a cozy touch to our World Book Day festivities. It was a day filled with laughter, imagination, and the joy of reading, reminding us of the magic that books bring into our lives.
Overall, World Book Day at our school was a fantastic celebration of literature and storytelling, leaving us all feeling inspired and grateful for the wonderful world of books.
