Exploring Our World: Year 3’s Geography Journey

Year 3 children built on their Year 2 knowledge of UK countries and capitals by diving deeper into geography. This time, they explored additional details, such as surrounding seas and oceans, and took a closer look at local areas, including our school’s location. Using atlases and Google Earth, the children developed their mapping skills, discovered new perspectives, and gained a greater understanding of their place in the wider world. It was an exciting and interactive way to bring geography to life!
