Eco Club’s Sensory Garden Makeover!

This week, our brilliant Eco Club came together once again to continue their exciting work on the school’s Sensory Garden. Supported by Sarah Elkin from OASES Outdoor and Sustainability Education Specialists, the children rolled up their sleeves and got stuck into a range of hands-on activities including painting bird boxes, carefully lining Mr Gowdy's freshly made pallet-planters and adding fresh compost to them, as well as tying colourful wish ribbons to our fences with Miss Bell– each one carrying a thoughtful message about our environment.

Through this project, the children are learning the importance of sustainability – and helping us to become a Climate Friendly School. We are reusing materials, supporting local wildlife, and creating a peaceful, engaging environment for all to enjoy.
