Conflict through the Ages

Year 6 are learning about conflict through the ages in their History unit. Starting from the Prehistoric Ages, through the Roman and Greek time periods, to the Anglo-Saxon and Viking periods, the children have been exploring how weaponry, warfare and tactics developed over time. They used their historical enquiry skills to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of weaponry in differing time periods. In Forest School, they have been designing and making weaponry from through the ages.
