Y3 Art
Year 3 have completed a fantastic art project inspired by prehistoric cave art. They began by exploring images of ancient artwork and used pencils and charcoal to draw animals in the style of early humans. Y3 science
This half term, Year 3 have been busy exploring rocks and soil in their science lessons. They looked closely at the different properties of rocks and carried out hands-on investigations to test the permeability of sand, chalk, and clay. Along the way, they learned how to set up a fair test and even planned and wrote their own scientific investigations. It’s been a fantastic opportunity to build enquiry skills and develop a deeper understanding of the world beneath our feet!

Plant One Tree
Today, Year 2 have been learning about the importance of trees and how by simply donating £1, we can help plant trees in other countries. To further celebrate trees, we created artwork using fallen leaves. First, we created amazing collage animals, then we created a class artwork inspired by the outdoor artist Andy Goldsworthy.
