Year 4 visit Segedunum

Year 4 visited the Roman Fort at Segedunum. They had an excellent day learning all about life in Roman Britain and the construction of Hadrian’s Wall and Segedunum Fort. The day began with an exploration of the remains of the Roman fort itself, followed by a look around the interactive Roman Gallery. In the afternoon, the children were led by tour guide, Simon on a tour of the remains of Hadrian’s Wall. The day ended with a re-enactment a battle between the Romans and the Barbarians.
