Year 3 – Walk for Peace

Today, the Year 3 children embarked on a meaningful walk through Heaton Park to promote peace in honour of Refugee Week. With colourful banners held high, they chanted messages of unity and harmony throughout the park. The walk was made even more special as they listened to John Lennon’s iconic song “Give Peace a Chance,” which resonated in the air and amplified their message of peace and solidarity. This inspiring event not only spread a message of hope and acceptance but also educated the children about the importance of compassion and support for refugees around the world.
