Historical Detectives- When was the Great Fire of London

Year two have been examining evidence to see if they can find the when the Great Fire of London started, the cause and duration of the fire. After examining all the information we concluded that the fire started on 2nd September 1666, when a spark or flame from a bakers hearth fell into a basket of kindling.
