Animals and their offspring

Year 2 have been learning about animals including humans. After a retrieval session looking at the different classifications of animals we explored animals and their offspring. We noticed that mammals, birds and reptiles have offspring which generally look like the adult animal and that amphibians and fish have offspring that don’t look like the adult animal.
