Year 6 have enjoyed a week of fun and educational activities both inside and out of the classroom, as part of Mental health Awareness Week. All activities were based around the theme of this week: ‘Nature’ and included making observational drawings of nature in the style of Geoff Slater, a class walk through Jesmond Dene to enjoy the sights, smells and sounds of nature, and a morning in the Forest School using leaves to make impressions.
It’s safe to say- fun was had by all!
