Hello Year 5,
As we come to the end of your journey in Year 5 I would just like to let you know that, even though it has been a very strange and unusual year, you have all shown the most admirable resilience in a matter of events that we could not have possibly predicted. You have shone in so many ways, done so well to help keep everybody safe and adapted to learning in a whole new way. I would like to say a big thank you, well done and I am hugely proud of you all!
It can sometimes feel sad to think about the things we have missed out on over the last few months, but it is really important to focus on being grateful for the time we all had together and the lovely memories we made, as well as think about our hopes and look forward to the future. I know I certainly have some wonderful memories of our time together in Year 5 and I’ll be sharing some of these with you on Seesaw this week.
For your final week, we have decided to focus on remembering, reflecting and looking to the future so your learning this week is a grid of activities doing just that. Please choose the ones that you think you will enjoy and don’t forget to send me some examples on Seesaw.
Finally, enjoy your summer holiday, have a good rest and I am really looking forward to seeing you all again in the new term.
