Thank you to all who have signed up to Seesaw – it means you should now have a journal for your child and if you send work in I can add comments and points for learning if necessary. If you haven’t signed up, don’t worry – please see the e-mail sent last week and follow the guidelines. You don’t need to send in every piece of work so feel free to send in what you want – it’s been lovely seeing the photographs of cake making, reading, and all the work that your children are producing. I will also be send work out via Seesaw in the future.
Please find below the homework learning fgrid for summer week 5. This week the theme is explorers and the children will focus on the Italian explorer and colonizer Christopher Columbus who made four voyages across the Atlantic Ocean to the New World. This will build upon previous learning as the children have also learned about Neil Armstrong and the historic moon landing in 1969.
Use the link below for all literacy and topic activities this week. This link is for Pobble which is a writing platform that we use in school. As stated above, the theme for literacy and the topic is explorers. Use the home learning guide above to see how I have broken this down into day-to-day activities – literacy and afternoon tasks. I am sure the children will enjoy this!
Use the link below for maths, please use Summer – Week 4 (w/c 11/4/20) if you are following the home learning grid you should now be on to this week i.e. one week behind. However, feel free to go through activities at your own pace. The 1st link below is to watch the video tutorials only – the links below that are all of the work sheets and answer sheets for this week. White Rose Maths Hub have changed the format again so I will upload the PDFs separately.
Please also see the home learning grid and use the PDFs below for science – Animals inluding Humans – The importance of Exercise.
