Rainbow Challenges

This week Year One were set as series of challenges covering a variety of subjects.

R.E. – The children were asked to complete a collage expressing how they think God loves the world and the people in it.

Maths – The children practiced counting numbers up to 20 by counting pasta into a bag.

The children also worked on learning the 12 months of the year by ordering and reciting them.

Geography- The children were asked to label the four countries of the U.K. and they spent time locating different cities within the England.

I.C.T. – The children worked on the Maths program Numbots.

D.T – This week the children learned how to make a flange and how it can strength models.

 

Science – The children continued to learn about the seasons and also discussed weather types.
