Today the children were recapping the diagraph ‘ie’, they played a dice game to practice reading lots of words containing this sound. Year 2 children displayed their vocabulary skills in our Phase 5 phonics session today. Children looked at the ‘ow’ and ‘ou’ sound and then sorted words into the appropriate box.
