Year 6 Remote Learning- Extra Activities

Please read the following information about extra activities your children can complete during this time of remote learning. It is important to note that these are in addition to the three daily lessons which will be set on Seesaw.

Learning by Questions

Children will be set tasks on ‘Learning by Questions’ in Literacy, Maths, Science, History or Geography. Login codes only last one day and will be sent to parents via text message.

 

Timestables Rockstars

Children have their own log in for app and should continue to work through the timestables activities. If your child has lost their/ forgotten their log in details, please contact the school office.

 

Purple Mash

Each child has now been set up with a login to Purple Mash- an app in which the teacher will set work (in which case, the children will be notified) and the children can play educational games. Login details will be sent to individual pupils via Seesaw.

 

EdShed

EdShed includes a range of activities relating to Literacy and Maths. Each child has access to login to this app, and these details will again be sent out via Seesaw.

 

BBC Education Offer

Beginning on Monday 11th January, the CBBC channel will be delivering three hours of primary lessons including live lessons and Bitesize lessons.

 

Joe Wicks

Beginning on Monday 11th January, Joe Wicks is beginning three live workouts per week- Monday, Wednesday and Friday. These will only last 20 minutes and are a great way to start the day! These can be found on his YouTube channel.
