Futsal success

Futsal success

St. Teresa’s Under-11 side played in the second Newcastle group stage of the Pokemon Futsal Tournament yesterday.

All games were fast and frantic, with a high tempo and plenty of skills on offer by all the boys and girls playing the game.

St. Teresa’s drew their first game 1-1 and then went on a 4 game winning streak to see them through the city final in the next few weeks.

The team grew into the competition, as they settled into the style, formation and tempo you should play futsal at. All the boys played brilliantly and the competition ended with our last game deciding who went through out of three teams. St. Teresa’s winning it with their best performance of the day, beating another great team 4-0. Well done to all involved!
