Not only have the children participated in some fabulous cross-curricular activities during April, many of them have also ran their daily mile around Forest School.
Reception created journey sticks following a walk around Forest School.
Year 1 looked at the five senses of touch, taste, smell, sound and sight.
Year 2 made pirate ships using corks and made their own skull and crossbones mast.
Year 3 made Roman Numerals using sticks.
Year 4 whittled sticks to make a natural paintbrush and used them to write their own name in Egyptian Hieroglyphics.
Year 5 used maps and coordinates to find clues relating to the Mayan number system.
Year 6 collected fire wood, picked litter, cleared debris and laid bark.
The daily mile completed in Forest School.
